Sky Deutschland announced it has extended its rights to show the US Open golf tournament in the coming years. The long-term agreement covers live broadcast via satellite, cable, IPTV, web and mobile in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Coverage of the latest edition of the tournament will start 13 June and run through the weekend.

In addition to the live broadcast on Sky Sport 2 HD, Sky will offer the Featured Holes programme on Sky Sport 3 HD every day, so fans can follow certain holes live with the original US commentary. On the web and Sky Q, customers can also stream additional daily coverage. A half-hour free summary of the tournament will air on 17 June on Sky Sport News HD.

The golf broadcasts are available in the Sky Sports package or a Sky Ticket.
