Venezuela has provided a total of over 700,000 DTT decoders for free and expects to deliver a further 410,000 by the end of the year, reports NexTV Latam, citing figures from the Ministry of Science and Technology. The country's DTT service reaches 22 cities and offers a total of 18 channels, including VTV, Colombeia, SIBCI, Telesur, ViVe, Tves, TV FANB, Meridiano, Televen and Venevision. The latest decoders were distributed in the cities of Barcelona, Mamo, Coquivacoa, San Diego, Libertador, Bolivar, Santos Marquina, Catia La Mar and Maracay.
