Latin America reached 68.4 million pay-TV subscribers at the end of the first quarter, an increase of 1.57 percent compared to the previous quarter, according to the latest data from Dataxis. Brazil remains the region's largest pay-TV market with 19.8 million subscribers, with Mexico coming in second with 16.8 million, followed by Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Chile. Satellite TV was the leading pay-TV access technology with 34.5 million users in Latin America at the end of Q1, closely followed by cable technology with over 32.5 million subscribers
