Telenet announced that it has acquired the broadcast rights to the Belgian Cup. The football matches in the tournament, which will be known from this season as the Croky Cup, will be shown the next three years on Sporting Telenet, Telenet's premium sports channel with top football and Formula 1. Public broadcaster VRT's Sporza also acquired part of the matches. Telenet will show nine matches, and Sporza will offer a quarter final, half final and the final live. In francophone Belgium, RTL will take over coverage of the tournament from public broadcaster RTBF, showing nine matches.
