Russian federal telecommunications regulator Roskomnadzor has made satellite operator Tricolor TV resume the broadcast of Russian public TV channels for free, reports Vedomosti. The regulator started investigating the matter after receiving numerous complaints from customers, who said Tricolor TV was providing Russian public TV channels TV Centre, OTR, Russia 24 and Russia 2 only with pay-TV servics. Roskomnadzor made the operator resume free broadcast until 12 December, or lose its license.
