UAE satellite communications group Yahsat is preparing to launch its satellite broadband services across a series of new markets, The National reported. The expansion will take place in the Middle East and Asia, CCO David Murphy said. Yahsat said in April that its YahClick satellite broadband service was available across 12 markets, including seven in sub-Saharan Africa, with a total footprint of 28 countries. The company's website currently lists 17 countries in which the service is available. YahClick had 34,000 subscribers in early March, the company said. Murphy said more markets will open up in the next month or so and that the company hoped to soon make an announcement
