British pay TV and broadband operator Sky has started to give away over 15,000 tickets for the opening round of the British Masters on 8 October to Sky customers who take part in an exclusive 48 hour pre-sale of discounted tickets for later rounds. As part of the pre-sale, Sky customers will also be able to purchase tickets at a discounted advance rate for the second, third and final rounds, which take place from 9 to 11 October. Tickets are limited to a maximum of two per person. The remaining free tickets for 8 October, designated 'Sky Sports Thursday' at the Masters, will then be made available to non-Sky customers online on 26 April. All one day tickets for Friday to Sunday cost GBP 20 (GBP 10 concession) before 31 May or GBP 25 (GBP 15 concession) before 4 October. The full gate price is GBP 30. Adult season tickets cost GBP 50 before 31 May, and GBP 65 from June to 4 October. The full gate price for a season ticket is GBP 75.
