Cyfrowy Polsat is providing new functions on its decoders. Its proprietary decoders for satellite digital TV were upgraded to the HD standards: PVR HD 7000, HD 6000, HD 5000, HD 3000 and HD 2000. The most important change is the feature on the decoder PVR HD 7000, allowing even more flexibility in content recording and the possibility of simultaneous recording from two channels, and switching between two on-going recordings.

The HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 5000, HD 6000 decoders, as well as the PVR HD 7000, get several new features. Data for EPG are downloaded automatically during decoder start-up for faster access to a TV programme. There is a channel pre-view function obtained by pressing the last digit of a channel position for longer. Content marked in the EPG with an Ipla icon indicates that it is available on the Ipla internet TV service. There is also the possibility to connect any hard drive to the HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 5000 and HD 6000 decoders to get PVR functions.

Decoders of Cyfrowy Polsat support 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch discs with a capacity from 16 GB to 2 TB. Cyfrowy Polsat is the only provider of pay-TV services in Poland and one of few globally that has its own factory for the production of decoders, which over seven years of operation have produced thirteen models of receiver with a total of 6 million devices for the platform.
